Full Time Job
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
• Oversee the development of all visual, verbal and branded elements for Pac-12 Networks' six regional and national broadcast feeds, the Pac-12 Now app, social media platforms and pac-12.com
• Utilizes creativity, analytical and organizational skills to identify and evaluate marketing opportunities to develop Pac-12 Networks brand across all mediums
• Conceive, originate concepts and scripts, articulate a dynamic pitch and defend the conceptual direction
• Foster creative excellence and actively contribute to a culture of innovative storytelling
• Oversee development of informational graphic systems, including scoreboxes, insert graphics, virtual graphics,
• Direct and manage all branding and design components for Pac-12 Networks Live Event, Studio and post-produced content
• Manage a team of artists, producers, and department managers to ensure directives are met on-time, on-budget, and to expected qualities
• May hire and manage third-party resources, i.e., agencies; production companies; directors and producers; designers, etc., engaged for concept development and production
• Provide detailed information and cost estimates to assure accurate data on which to plan and develop functional objectives and budgets
• Plans, develops and defends budget recommendations, work goals, measurements and training requirements necessary to provide both profitable and quality work to Pac-12 Networks
• Ensures the timely development and execution of major linear show packaging, marketing campaigns, affiliate assets, and scenic
• Provide inspiration and leadership to the department; convey the vision and values of the Networks to team members
• Cultivate and lead creative staff growth and team culture
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Graphic Design or Visual Communication
• Strong leadership skills
• Minimum of 8 years of creative and production experience with at least one year of managing and supervising people
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage timelines and consistently hit deadlines
• Strong knowledge and understanding of sports.
• Advanced appreciation of sports, pop culture, and ability to contribute to developing creative that emotionally connects with the Pac-12 Networks fans
• Strong understanding of the Pac-12 Networks brand
• Advanced use of design programs
