JOB SUMMARY Serve the role of associate producer and editor for all Broadcast Production content creation including production for Magic Gaming, social media, in-game activation, Fox Sports Florida broadcasts, and internal and external client needs. Produce, write, edit and shoot content as assigned. JOB RELATIONSHIPS

• Approximate number of events worked per season: 1-20
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create original content with little to no direction on subject matter for Magic Gaming and the Orlando Magic, with a focus on Magic Gaming production during their season. Responsibilities include using your imagination to produce, write, edit, shoot and deliver creative original media.
• Produce, write, shoot and edit original content created by you, including but not limited to:
• Magic Gaming
• Social media franchise content
• In-arena features, vignettes and b-roll
• Internal/external partner content
• Bumps, teases and misc. elements for Fox Sports Florida Broadcasts.
• Commercials
• Generate innovative and engaging content for Orlando Magic and Magic Gaming digital media platforms, share ideas in weekly department meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Remain apprised of current industry trends and develop captivating content to help the Orlando Magic and Magic Gaming content feel fresh as ideas continue to be recycled.
• Provide creative input to the Magic Gaming staff to develop compelling content around NBA 2K League storylines.
• Determine scope of work for projects related to Magic Gaming and effectively communicate during departmental meetings.
• Coordinate delivery of completed content in correct formats for upload and playback to Orlando Magic social accounts, Magic Gaming staff, orlandomagic.com, Fox Sports Florida broadcasts or in-arena use.
• Monitor and certify that all content being produced adheres to the Orlando Magic brand guidelines.
• Develop imaginative content that promotes the initiatives of your internal and external Orlando Magic customers/partners.
• Work home Magic games as needed or as assigned for content including but not limited to:
• Franchise social content
• In-Game Highlight edits
• Corporate Partner promos
• Partner with the Digital Content Coordinator to ensure shared storage disk space is being optimized.
• Clearly communicate needs for archived video content, work with Digital Content Coordinator to acquire and ingest footage to network shared storage.
• Create interview questions and conduct interviews of players, coaches and support staff for shows and features as assigned.
• Work with Broadcast Production videographers to continually develop and maintain Broadcast Production stock footage library.
• Communicate project status reports with Broadcast Production team by updating shared tracking database daily.
• Makes decisions utilizing their invention, innovation and talent while adhering to precedent and company policy.

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to stand on feet and walk for 3 hours per game
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in communications, digital media or television productions preferred or equivalent experienced required.
• Ability to invent/create original and compelling content to meet the needs of internal and external customer's initiatives and company global goals.
• Minimum of two (2) years producing feature video content required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of non-linear editing experience required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Audition and Prelude required.
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, SpeedGrade and DaVinci Resolve preferred.
• Working knowledge of standard production formats and transfer practices required.
• Knowledge of DSLR and Super 35 camera systems a plus.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and other related computer skills required.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
• Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
• Strong team synergy skills and ability to work collaboratively with others whom you have no direct authority over.
• Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
• Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.
