We are shooting a low budget short documentary film in Manhattan New York on April 27th. We need and are looking for a lighting tech for one full eight hour day.
Lighting Technicians at One Damaged Dame LLC must be willing to do the following:
Position Responsibilities:
• Installation, focus, and strike of theatrical lighting equipment and temporary electrical distribution
• Unload/load lighting equipment
• Follow direction from leadership team
• MUST BRING OWN EQUIPMENT
• At least 1 year of experience as a stage electrician
• Experience working with conventional, LED, and automated lighting fixtures
• Experience with DMX and related control signals, dimming systems, and electrical distribution
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, and rigging safety principles
• Punctuality, professionalism, and a positive, collaborative attitude when working with clients and co-workers
Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to lift up to 65 pounds
• Setting up theatrical lighting
• Ability to sit or stand for a long period of time
