Full Time Job
Are you a strong relationship-builder with digital marketing experience? Do you love collaborating with others to produce an excellent end product? We are looking for an outgoing and charismatic advertising pro with a head for strategy to join our team of marketing and graphic design professionals at the Oklahoma City Thunder and Oklahoma City Blue. As the advertising coordinator, you will develop and implement advertising executions for both basketball teams including print, out of home, digital, radio and TV advertising. We will rely on you to actively evaluate the success of individual campaigns and make recommendations for future execution results. An important part of your role will be to develop and maintain relationships with external sources as well as working cohesively cross-departmentally. You will help to produce a consistent brand look and feel throughout all media.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategic purchase and placement of media advertising, including television, radio, print, digital/online, outdoor, email, social networking and other niche direct marketing avenues
• Contribute to the development of branding/positioning for all advertising and promotional campaigns
• Ensure that all advertising campaigns are executed in an accurate and timely manner
• Handle all pre- and post-launch ad trafficking
• Implement all ad-related trafficking, including re-marketing and conversion pixels
• Monitor pace of digital and traditional campaigns to ensure budgets are on track
• Be adept at copy writing specific to advertising executions
• Manage the media matrix for all internal and external media placement focusing on return on investment, impressions, demographic and CPM measurements
• Integrate with the Business Intelligence team to develop, analyze and deliver campaign recaps, updates and reporting and identify marketing opportunities based on trends and data
• Identify new opportunities to align messaging to targeted audiences (i.e. digital, social, video, emerging channels, etc.) and incorporate regular A/B testing and analysis
• Manage a variety of distinctive styles of campaigns with different goals and strategies, evaluating each to demonstrate value for the business and make informed recommendations for budget allocation and strategy shifts as needed
• Conduct ongoing research and development to fine-tune advanced targeting tactics for individual campaigns
• Serve as the primary point of contact to agencies for development of brand tune-in spots, digital campaigns and social media advertising
• Act as liaison for team retail operation and lead planning/execution of retail messaging campaigns to drive retail sales
• Work with the graphic design team on full portfolio of media, including weekly print content and trafficking, digital, OOH, etc.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years' experience in marketing, partner activation, analytics and/or advertising required with agency experience preferred
• Ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously, manage a project from design to completion, and deliver an outstanding work product
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including a strong working knowledge of Excel
• Experience using Tableau is beneficial
• Communication strengths including oral, written and listening skills, and strong teamwork and relationship-building talents
• Confident working with data and numbers with the ability to present data in various ways to highlight campaign performance
• Naturally curious and demonstrates an eagerness to learn
• Fluency in Spanish language preferred, but not required
• Ability to maintain a schedule that will include office hours as well as evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Primary work location will be the Chesapeake Energy Arena located in downtown Oklahoma City
This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Manager, Brand Marketing.
