OK! Magazine is currently looking for a result driven, self-motivated, detailed-oriented “Junior” Online Account Manager. This position will be based in our New York office.
The Account Manager has a successful track record of selling online media at a high profile digital publisher or integrated media brand; is an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach and is motivated to drive revenue and increase the client base. The ideal candidate possesses a proven ability to plan, develop, and implement online sales strategies, and has a quantifiable record of meeting revenue benchmarks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Qualify, grow, and maintain an account list and meet revenue goals.
• Develop sales strategies, manage the sales process from prospecting through close of sale and account renewal
• Generate creative ideas and see them through to execution.
• Engage and strategize with agencies and clients to determine their business needs and formulate ad sales programs.
• Establish and cultivate strong client relationships.
• Communicate account forecasts and sales information to sales management.
• Assume campaign ownership to ensure full delivery and proper pacing of ad campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ year digital or traditional media sales experience.
• Understands the constantly evolving digital advertising landscape and alternative digital platforms.
• Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships.
• Understands the importance of the overall brand platform and demonstrates an understanding of a 360-degree integrated approach to marketing and media sales.
• High degree of self-motivation and collaborative experience in a team environment.
• Solid team-building skills, analytical thinking, time management and presentation ability.
• High-energy, customer-focused, thorough and assertive.
