OBB Media is seeking a Stage Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a two-stage multifunctional facility in Los Angeles. A successful candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, thorough and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times.
Responsibilities
-Manage the scheduling and booking of all production, podcast, and post-production office spaces within the facility
-Responsible for production and post-production facility move-in and move-outs and ensuring all necessary equipment and systems are in working order before and after use
-Manage camera equipment check out/in process
-Resolve conflicting requests by understanding priorities based on delivery deadlines
-Act as a liaison between productions, facility team, and OBB Media to support production's needs
-Provide exceptional customer service to create an amazing experience for productions
-Support the team in the management of facility improvements and any construction projects
-Ensure and implement safety protocols within facility
Qualifications
-5+ years experience in entertainment-specific operational and facilities management
-Very knowledgeable with camera equipment. Background in camera department is a plus
-Strong familiarity with a broad range of post-production and podcast software and equipment
-A solution-oriented mindset, strong organizational and project management skills
-Ability to manage many projects simultaneously in a face-paced environment
-Comfortable engaging with Executives, Supervisors, Leads, and Artists
-Self-starter with ability to prioritize and respond accordingly
-Strong verbal and written communicator who can build strong working relationships with vendors, and internal and external partners
-Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive)
-AirTable experience is a plus
-Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current production, podcast and post-production processes and equipment
