Vault Auditor

Description:
The Oakland Athletics are currently seeking a Part-Time Vault Auditor. This position will report directly to the Senior Accountant. The Vault Auditor is responsible for preparing and assisting in banks distribution for different departments during games.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all ancillary banks used in the stadium on game days
• Assist with Cash vault management, make sure actual vault count matches the GL
• Prepare all Ticket Office deposits, Vault reductions and additions
• Conduct the check-in and check-in process for all Ticket Sellers, making sure their cash reconciles to the ProVenue report, and verify cash for ticket sellers if any discrepancies in their starting bank
• Prepare all cash banks for Ticket sellers, Ticket Services and A's sellers
• Pull banks for disbursal to sellers, and assist with signing sellers' banks in and out
• Make daily deposits, complete deposit slips, and log bank book
• Cash checks and make change for parking, employees, and ticket sellers as needed
• Works various Oakland Athletics' events such as Fan Fest, Root Beer Float Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Day and Golf Tournament
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
• B.A. or B.S. preferred, with background in finance, banking, or related field.
• 1-3 years' work experience preferred in related field
• Must have experience and knowledge of cash management a must
• Must have strong project management skills and ability to multi-task with great attention to detail in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) preferred, though not required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
• Candidates must be enthusiastic with a strong work ethic, knowledge of sports and desire to work in sports
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays and other related events
