Stadium Operations Systems Assistant (part-time)
Stadium Operations Systems Assistant
Oakland Athletics Baseball Company
Reports to: Stadium Operations Systems Manager
Status: Part-Time Hourly (30 hours p/week, year-round)
STATUS: NON-EXEMPT
Duties/Expectations: Responsible for, but not limited to the following:
• Oversee various aspects of stadium equipment, including: wristbands, clubhouse lists, security clipboards and game files
• Aid in the production of seasonal credentials, daily credentials and staff nametags
• Manage daily radio deployments and support the distribution and maintenance of the units/accessories during home games
• Assist with the daily management of the 24/7 Software incident tracking system
• Support the preparation and facilitation of Incident Tracking and Dispatch training
• Expand daily analysis of turnstile reports, promotional giveaway distributions, security body camera footage and significant incident reports
• Collaborate on the development of assorted Greening and Sustainability projects
• Bolster ongoing SAFETY Act documentation
• Maintain stadium signage in conjunction with the Stadium Operations Coordinator
• Develop extensive knowledge of the 24/7 Software, Visual Labs, MLB Guest Pass and ABI credential systems
• Have full knowledge of Oakland Athletics stadium policies, emergency procedures and evacuation plans
• Work home games as an event assistant
Qualifications
/Requirements:
• BA or BS college degree, and at least 1 year of event management experience preferred
• Excellent customer service abilities and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Candidate must be available to work non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Computer proficiency in Adobe software, ABI Master Mind and 24/7 software a plus, but not mandatory
