Membership Services Representative - Oakland Athletics (Oakland, CA)
Description:
The Oakland Athletics are currently seeking a Full-Time Membership Services Representative. This position will report directly to the Membership Services Manager and will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
• Primary responsibility of answering and monitoring the A's Access Member hotline to assist Member purchases and related fan inquiries.
• Create performance measures to ensure minimal wait for customers for incoming calls to maximize efficiency.
• Assist A's Access Members and fans on game day in the Ticket Services and Box Office problem solving and optimizing fan experience.
• Learn, maintain proficiency, and relay usage of A's online ticket management tools and A's Access benefits to maximize retention of current fan base.
• Work closely with Membership Services Team to maintain accurate Season Ticket account information and ticket event creation and maintenance.
• Responsible for timely and accurate processing of new A's Access Members and other ticketing products.
• Assist in the Membership retention and renewal process, including managing the renewal of a dedicated number of accounts.
• Support in the coordination and upgrade of seat locations for A's Access Members.
• Responsible for fan development and implementation of department communication to strengthen existing Membership relationships and Organizational growth.
• Coordinate, maintain, and assess reports on the ticketing system, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, ProVenue and Salesforce.
• Support and service group and individual ticket purchasers for the Oakland A's.
• Assist/spearhead special projects and reports as needed.
• Gain knowledge and understanding of the Oakland A's organization to best assist A's patrons and A's company employees.
• Provide overall Ticket Operations and Ticket Services assistance as needed on game day and non-game day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
/Requirements:
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous customer service experience, especially phone experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Candidates must be enthusiastic with a strong work ethic and desire to work and advance in sports
• Demonstrated computer proficiency
• Ability to work flexible hour including nights, weekends and holidays
