Overview
Day-to-day account management, activation and contract fulfillment for assigned Oakland Athletics corporate partners with goal of building relationships and successfully providing partners next level service, brand expertise and strategic thinking.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience; professional sports team and/or agency experience preferred
• Customer service and relationship building oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent writing, presentation and analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and sense of urgency where necessary
• Ability to problem solve; solutions-oriented mentality
• Proactive and productive; recognizes opportunity to put procedures into practice to achieve job efficiencies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
• Flexibility in working extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to travel for required meetings, activations and events
• Serve as a resource at games and events throughout the season
• Experience in a service related position preferred
• Experience in brand/property management
• Proficiency in CRM systems KORE and/or Salesforce
Responsibilities
• Initiate and maintain regular contact with client and/or client's agency, developing strong professional relationships.
• Responsible for overall day-to-day account management including contract activation and fulfillment, vendor relationships and gameday execution.
• Manages all major deliverables (i.e. signage, print, promotional, entertainment elements, etc.) to ensure quality standards and that client expectations are met
• Accountable for driving renewal discussions and upsell opportunities with existing partnerships to grow revenue, including: development of new platforms, realigning objectives and assets, and drafting all necessary presentation materials
• Coordinate the implementation of branding and activations during Oakland Athletics game days and other stadium events including digital signage, in-game features and fan engagement activations
• Reviews promotional concepts, including evaluation and approval of promotional programs, rules, artwork, and in-market supporting media. Coordinates all these aspects internally and externally
• Coordinates logistics of all partner tickets, suites, sponsor trips and special events
• Create and host non-game partner hospitality events including networking forums, parties, sponsor trips and VIP hosting
• Liaison with internal departments and to ensure communication is streamlined, department inventory is given to Sales leads and activations and promotions are run seamlessly that are controlled by the department
• Manages creation and delivery of mid-year / end-of-year recaps to each assigned partner
