Video Production Intern

Description:
The Oakland Athletics are currently seeking a seasonal Video Production Intern. This position will report directly to the Video Producer. The Video Production Intern's main responsibilities will be to assist with editing, shooting, and media asset management for all of the A's Productions department video needs.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in shooting Athletics team videos, including: A's commercials, community events, marketing requirements, sit-down interviews and all other team video projects
• Edit videos and features for TV broadcasts, web and in-stadium
• Fulfill footage requests from broadcast partners and media outlets
• Manage and log all media from shoots
• Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio recorders, lighting equipment and microphones for location and studio production
Qualifications
/Requirements:
• Experience in lighting, both sit-down and live shoots
• Sports experience a significant plus
• Knowledge of AVID or Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of DSLR and Cinema quality cameras and lenses a plus
• Ability to work with others in a group setting, and as a self-starter
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• This position is open to current college students or recent graduates
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
