Full Time Job
The Oakland Athletics are seeking a Hospitality Coordinator to join our organization. Within this role, you will contribute to the growth and efficient day to day management of all group sales hospitality spaces. Ideal candidates will be extremely detail oriented, thrive in a high energy environment, be an effective multi-tasker and able to collaborate at a high level with various department leads within the organization. The position will also participate in special projects to support organization goals and offers the opportunity to be part of an exciting & supportive environment.
This position will report to the Director of Group Sales and gives unprecedented access to high-level executives across the A's organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Coordinate the day to day inventory management of all group hospitality spaces
* Execute all ticket operations as it relates to group hospitality spaces
* Proactively communicate with all parties within the organization to ensure hospitality needs are met; including but not limited to the ticket sales, stadium operations, food & beverage partner
* Ensure repeat hospitality business by creating a proactive internal & external customer service engagement plan
* Oversee the game day management of all hospitality spaces while ensuring execution at the highest level of detail
* Assist in the creation of all hospitality collateral & support material
* Assist the group sales manager with fan experience programs & theme night management
* Support the ticket sales team & leadership with special projects and events
* Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
* 1-2 years of successful hospitality & customer service experience preferred
* Excellent relationship building, customer service, and interpersonal skills
* Effective multi-tasker that can operate day to day with a sense of urgency
* Highly motivated, positive attitude, collaborative in nature
* Be self-directed and able to work independently with integrity
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Able to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and game days
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Dynamics CRM, and related software skills
