Executive Assistant for the Office of the President
Reports to: Chief of Staff
City/State: Oakland, CA
Description:
The Oakland Athletics are currently seeking a Full-Time Executive Assistant(s) for the Office of the President. This position will report directly to the Chief of Staff. The Executive Assistant is responsible for performing all duties including daily office administration, scheduling meetings as well as planning and working professionally with all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the day-to-day activities of the Office of the President, to include scheduling and prioritizing time commitments, project management, research, and communications.
• Serve as administrative assistant to the President & Chief of Staff.
• Curate calendar of President and schedule meeting/calls based on priority.
• Manage external correspondence on behalf of the President in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities and facilitating cooperation of others
• Spearhead projects centered around new ballpark efforts, community engagement, high-level clientele, and employee morale with creativity and innovativeness
• Assist in researching, budgeting and financing for special projects as specified by the Chief of Staff
• Research and support all initiatives related to the development of the new stadium
• Act as the point of contact between the President and clients, employees, & fans
Qualifications/Requirements:
The Executive Assistant, Office of the President should be able to adapt and accommodate to any and all needs of the President & Chief of Staff. The minimum qualifications required to successfully do so are as follows:
• Bachelor's Degree or strong relevant experience required
• Excellent Analytical and research skills
• Professional interpersonal communication skills
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
• Ability to successfully interact with all levels of the organization
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
