Full Time Job
The Oakland Athletics are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator. This full-time position reports directly to the Marketing Manager, and is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Duties/Expectations:• Work with MLB Advanced Media on athletics.com site and email content and updates while ensuring consistent brand voice and graphic look and feel• Serve as main conduit for the Ticket Sales department to the Marketing department• Ensure that Ticket Sales digital marketing initiatives are completed in a timely manner• Work with multiple departments to track and review website, email, and paid analytics including open rates and clicks to suggest best practices to optimize goals, including fan engagement, follower growth, and ROI• Assist with digital advertising and marketing efforts, with particular emphasis on Ticket Sales initiatives• Manage multiple projects within business operation to ensure quality control• Integrate emerging market trends, best practices, insights, and recommendations into both traditional and new media platforms • Create and source language, graphic, and video content for digital platforms• Collaborate on social media content• Attend and engage in weekly meetings
Qualifications
/Requirements:
• B.A. or B.S. required, preferably in Communications/Marketing/Advertising
• 1-3 years work experience preferred
• Experience, knowledge, and passion of technology and social media a must
• Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task with great attention to detail in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
• Ability to think strategically, in holistic detail, and have creative aptitude
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Adobe Suite & graphic design skills preferred
• Knowledge of sports industry preferred, though not required
• Candidate must be available to work various nights, weekends, and holidays to support key advertising and social media initiatives at games and other related events
