Full Time Unpaid Internship
Description:
NPR’s Marketing, Branding, and Communications division seeks an enthusiastic, creative and motivated intern to provide high-quality visuals to support our division’s internal communications needs as well as external marketing objectives. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in video creation and editing, photography, and basic graphic design. We’re eager to bring creative approaches to how we communicate corporate priorities and projects to our staff and other stakeholders. If you can film a staff meeting and turn it into a concise, interesting video clip, you are our person! You need to be creative and organized to be successful in this role.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in video journalism, video production, visual arts, marketing, advertising, PR, communications or related field. Experience creating and editing videos (classroom work counts). Good understanding of editing software such as iMovie, Final Cut Express, Adobe Premiere or similar software. Excellent communication (written, oral, interpersonal) skills. Must be innovative, detail-oriented and enjoy working independently as well as contributing to part of a team.
