Job Description
OVERVIEW
NoiseWater Production is seeking a highly motivated and proactive person with an impeccable attention to detail and strong design sense to join the team. Must enjoy music, live events, experiences and must be always enthusiastic and willing to learn alongside the team. This position reports to the CEO, Creative Director and Technical Director.
As a part of the team you will be generating ideas for events, tours and experiences as well as developing:
Renderings and moodboards
Presentations
Decks
One-sheets
Translate vision for the events into an executable plan (schedules, agendas etc).
Assist with the tracking of receipts and petty cash and work closely with the account manager to keep everything on track. Maintain event ledgers.
Assist the creative director and technical director with anything pertaining to the event or tour in place.
Assist the CEO of the company with anything needed for the general production of the event
Assist with the following:
Events
Support Technical Needs
Help with all production and technical aspects of an event, from supporting production staff to testing equipment. Ensure the set-up and working order of all equipment and work closely with the technical director and creative director to implement their vision
Create Event Concepts
During the initial stages of an event, participate in ideation, collaborating with art and technical directors for the event in order to generate concepts and brainstorm ideas. Help develop a plan for the execution of these ideas.
Perform Site Inspections
Perform initial site inspections and test all equipment to ensure that the venue is adequate and the equipment functions up to standard. He or she will attend event rehearsals to ensure that everything continues to run smoothly and oversee show run-downs before the actual event to solve any technical errors or event issues.
Work with Vendors
Assist with the contracting of vendors and staffing of all sorts, from venues to AV equipment to catering to talent. Assist with searching for technical staff who can do the job according to the needs of the creative director and technical director.
Tours:
Stage Design
Assist and create stage design and plots when needed. Create budgets, source technical needs and create presentations for clients.
Additional Projects & Tasks
Assist accountant with diverse projects
Assist with organization and inventory of tools, equipment and existing decor items.
Assist and maintain the office space while the team is out of town or on site working.
Assist personnel with all tour related activities
Assist with anything related to the rental of the Malibu house for events
QUALIFICATIONS
Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc)
Intermediate Hierarchy/Layout/Typography skill set
Knowledge of color theory and balance
Excellent attention to detail; possesses organizational skills
Proficient Mac user
Sketching and illustration ability, along with growing skills in photo retouching, photo-manipulation and compositing is a plus
Knowledge of power tools is a plus
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, and travel to work events as required, to meet deadlines
