OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an experienced Media Executive with experience in acquired A18-49/W18-49 programming to join the Nickelodeon Programming Team to lead Nick At Nite. This is a hybrid role with 50% of time split between remote deep-focused work and in-office collaborative work. Additional days in the office may be requested ad hoc by SVP.
Responsibilities
include, but not limited to:
- Lead, strategize and implement multi-year programming and content plans for Nick At Nite and TeenNick.
- Work alongside the Program Acquisitions Group to evaluate and acquire new series to shore up Nick At Nite GRPs and drive share growth with A18-49.
- Manage network acquired movie strategy including inventory, annual budget, and shared play allocations across Nick At Nite, TeenNick, Nickelodeon Network and the MTVE Group.
- Work closely with counterparts across Paramount Cable Networks to ensure our full library of acquired series is delivering the biggest ROI across the cable portfolio
- Collaborate with Media Planning to align programming strategies with promotional priorities.
- Ensure efficient and effective communication of programming plans across key lines of business including Marketing, Sales, Press, and Social teams.
- Lead planning and strategy for Nick At Nite VOD offering and any ancillary cross-platform content strategy including APP/.COM, and PlutoTV (FAST).
- Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed organization where collaboration and communication is required to drive projects forward and met KPI's.
- Lead a team of three direct reports (Director, Manager, Coordinator) including coaching and mentoring, determining paths for growth, performance reviews and goal setting including management of a hybrid work model.
- Manage a complex suite of customized research tools and trackers and leverage the data to inform and direct long and short-term programming strategies.
- Partner with VP, Programming Strategy & Analytics to track competitive programming and industry news and trends and apply them back to the business to enhance viewership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of experience program scheduling at a broadcast or cable network preferred
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Knowledge of the TV industry particularly for A/W18-49
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Data driven, keen interest in analytics
- Movie acquisitions experience a big plus
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong written and communication skills; proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
