Full Time Job
The VP Creative Operations, is a key leader in the creation and delivery of custom television, digital and print promotions for our shows and initiatives. This person oversees a team of project managers with cross platform experience and expertise, while personally managing highest profile/priority projects.
They will ensure that systems, processes, priorities, assignments and allocation of creative and project/production management organizational resources are optimized, and that the best possible creative work is executed and delivered on time and on-budget. The ideal candidate will liaise with Finance, HR and other Viacom shared services groups on behalf of the Creative team.
They will serve as a key liaison with the Digital and off-channel creative teams executing components of custom assignments as part of convergent campaigns or for digital-only or print-only projects, assuring seamless cooperation and consistency in execution across platforms.
In addition, they will partner with the SVP and VPs of the Strategy and Brand creative teams to assure the highest possible levels of communication and collaboration across the project, from assignment creation to concept to pitch to execution to delivery. The ideal candidate will be a key player in managing the negotiations and solutions To balance the direction of the brand and property attributes/objectives with the objectives of all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Design and manage systems, processes and teams to assure on time and on budget delivery of all brand creative custom content.
• Partner with creative, programming, media planning and marketing teams to plan and review creative briefs to ensure assignments are clear and effective.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships and communication with Marketing, Programming, Legal, Standards, Creative, and Media Planning, as well as the Digital UX and Off-Channel creative teams and with external clients, agencies and outside vendors.
• Manage the scope, timeline, communication, resources and budgets for all high profile launches and initiatives.
• Work with and across all departments and project stakeholders to set and communicate realistic expectations to cost, timing and anticipated deliverables.
Basic Qualifications
• 12-15 years experience, ideally in media/marketing/advertising
Additional Qualifications
• Flexible and collaborative, with a flair for ''out of the box'' thinking
• Keen understanding of Nickelodeon brand and culture; strong relationships throughout the organization
• Project/Production Management expertise and experience
• Strong organizational/analytical skills coupled with a strong creative sensibility and point of view
• Strong leadership, management and influencing skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Detail oriented
