Full Time Job
The Nickelodeon Preschool Brand Creative team is seeking a Supervising Producer. Specific responsibilities include:
• Provide timely feedback on much of the team's creative work -- everything from video edits and audio mixes, to pitches, brainstorms, scripts and more -- to the entire creative team of producers, associate producers, PA's, editors and audio engineers.
• Assist in the scheduling of in-house production teams or external vendors for assignments on our various platforms - On-Air, Digital, and Off Channel
• Perform ongoing review and assessment of internal production processes (maximizing use of internal production and post-production facilities, efficient use of freelance hires, reviewing delivery protocols, etc) to ensure we are working as efficiently as possible
• Support the Creative Director and Editorial Director as needed with concept/script development and oversight, keeping projects moving forward in the pre-production phase
• Kick off outside vendors and act as their creative point person throughout the project's lifespan
• Work with the Post Production Manager to manage edit and audio schedule, and to ensure timely delivery of post-production deliverables such as music cue sheets and work reels
• Keep in constant contact with the departmental Production Assistants on weekly deliveries
• Act as a senior-level writer/producer on select projects as needed
Basic Qualifications
• 10 years of experience working for a major network brand or agency in a producing capacity
• 5 years of experience leading creative teams
Additional Qualifications
• Experience working across many different teams (including Editorial, Marketing, Video and others) to inform and produce content
• Advanced understanding of video production and post-production workflows
• A deep understanding of the Nickelodeon brand and a passion for creating innovative content for its audience
