Full Time Job
• Work directly with VP & Director, Talent & Events, to implement development strategies and long-term plans for talent on all Nickelodeon Networks
• Manage talent logistics for appearances and events, including maintaining talent calendars, booking travel, cars, and ensuring that contractual obligations are met and adhered to
• Support in securing and managing celebrity bookings across Nickelodeon Networks, Pro-social, Marketing, and Special Events
• Establish and develop relationships with entertainment community
• Provide on-site management and Talent support for appearances
Specific Duties:
• Manage the day-to-day celebrity appearances for specific shows and platforms across Nickelodeon, including but not limited to:
• Network Upfronts, Kids’ Choice Awards, Kids’ Choice Sports, Worldwide Day of Play, HALO Awards, Marketing & Publicity Events, Pro-Social & Special Events, Super Bowl & Holiday Specials, Comic Con, Vid Con, Additional Award Shows
• Act as in-house manager, liaising requests across lines of business, as it relates to talent involvement on the channel. Inclusive of press, marketing, international, public affairs, current series shows (live action & animation properties, televised events, etc.)
• Manage talent logistics for appearances including drafting talent budgets, creating itineraries, booking travel (air, hotel, cars), per diem, visas, work permits, and glam
• Manage contract administration, send deal requests, facilitate payment processing for talent and cost tracking celebrity talent deals
• Support pre-established talent series, communicate with Executive in Charge and Executive Producers, and maintain relationships with Nick talent, their guardians and management, ie: The Dude Perfect Show, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, Crashletes, etc.
• Write Pitch and Offer Letters for celebrity talent (*strong writing skills required)
• Distribute confirmation letters and booking sheets, track and approve talent images, maintain trackers, save-the dates & blasts
• Manage gifting for entertainment community
• Keep department informed about upcoming celebrity projects and updates; maintain research including Sports Playoffs, Movie & TV Release Lists, TV Schedule, etc.
• Attend concerts, showcases, premieres, and screenings to further develop entertainment contacts and educate the industry about Nickelodeon
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in PR, Publicity or similar work environment
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in assistant/coordinator role with demonstrated growth
• Extensive knowledge of pop culture and ability to manage corporate environment
• Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, critical thinker
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, seasoned ability to create talent department decks and one sheets
