Nickelodeon is looking for a superstar social strategist to develop and execute social marketing campaigns for our slate of programming aimed at the kids’ 6-11 audience. If you grew up on iCarly, Victorious, Double Dare and Spongebob, love social media and marketing in equal measure, then you will be perfect to work on Henry Danger, The Loud House, and Kids’ Choice Awards! Responsibilities
• Develop and execute innovative organic social media marketing strategies and campaigns for Nickelodeon’s slate of ranging from live action series, special movies, events, and animated programming.
• Recommend optimal social platforms to reach the specific audience targets outlined in the property creative briefs.
• Plan and schedule content roll-out with social publishing team to support new, returning and in-season series, tentpoles and live events.
• Work with the internal creative promotions team and occasionally outside agencies to develop and create social assets to fulfill all social marketing roll-outs.
• Coordinate with west coast social content leads to incorporate production and studio assets into overall content roll-out.
• Incorporate social plans into overall marketing briefs and work with consumer marketing to identify best content to boost with paid social support.
• Document campaigns with wrap-up reports, analyze performance, and apply key learnings to future campaigns.
• Be fluent in all current and emerging social platforms, their marketing applications, follow trends in social content and identify opportunities for testing new tactics and platforms.
Basic Qualifications
• 3-5 years' experience in social media marketing/strategy. Television &/or kids’ marketing experience a STRONG plus, but media, entertainment or agency backgrounds welcome to apply as well.
• Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications
• Deep understanding of all social platforms, product extensions and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with social creative and advertising best practices, including keyword and audience targeting, and platform self-service tools.
• Ability to work independently across departments and disciplines in a fast pace environment.
