Nickelodeon is seeking a Manager of Marketing Analytics to lead campaign reporting and extract audience insights from its paid marketing campaigns. This covers all media channels including digital and TV marketing, paid YouTube, paid social, and CRM efforts. The ideal candidate is comfortable turning data into stories, has proven experience analyzing omni-platform media campaigns and audience behaviors.
Nickelodeon has an active, passionate fanbase that goes beyond its linear channel to include multiple social and digital platforms- from Moms of preschoolers to fans of SpongeBob, Henry Danger, and more. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work with beloved IP, collaborate with strategic groups within Nickelodeon and Viacom, and create invaluable insights into our content and audiences that drive business results.
Responsibilities:
• Ongoing cross-media analysis that captures the impact of paid marketing on content consumption across traditional, digital, and social media platforms
• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports articulating paid campaign performance across social, YouTube, and linear ratings
• Regularly produce actionable insights on our audiences, marketing creative, and platform trends
• Establish KPIs and measurement approach for cross-platform paid marketing plans
• Present insights and reports in a digestible format to members at all levels of the organization
• Understand concepts and measurement methods of lifecycle marketing, graduation, and behavioral segmentation
• Perform ad hoc research projects and react to emerging business questions as needed
• Use tools to attain a clear understanding of trends and brand presence on major social networks
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 4 years of experience conducting marketing research and analytics in a brand or agency environment
• Experience with analytics for cross-platform media campaigns including paid social, YouTube, digital, and TV campaigns
• Deep understanding on Nielsen’s methodology and experience with nPower and Lake 5 tools
• Hands-on experience using social media analytics tools such as Netbase, Affinity Answers, Sysomos, Topsy, Radian6, Tracx, Crimson Hexagon, Adobe Social, Social Guide, etc.
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel and other statistical software
• Experience applying a scientific approach to research, ensuring results are replicable and observations are backed by strong evidence
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Collaborative team member with a natural sense of curiosity
