Full Time Job
The Nickelodeon Preschool Production & Development team makes all long form content for Nick Preschool inhouse or through coproductions. The team is responsible for 14 shows such as Paw Patrol.
The Assistant will support SVP of preschool content and SVP of Production and Development, in fulfilling the day-to-day and long term needs of the department. Support on project related work, as needed.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for providing full administrative support while managing daily operations of the two production executives including trafficking correspondences and maintaining the flow of meetings
• Advise on schedule changes and meetings while remaining mindful of both corporate and production deadlines
• Answer all incoming phone calls and take messages. Respond and direct any calls to the appropriate department or person
• Prepare, submit and track T&E's
• Handle all travel arrangements
• Prepare, edit, and/or distribute meeting agendas, memos, correspondences and presentations.
• Manage creative files on Media Silo
• Assist in awards submissions throughout the year
• Order office supplies as needed
• Handle audio/visual, video conferencing and teleconferencing requests
• Prepare visual aids for presentations.
• Occasional event planning
• Prepare presentation decks on Powerpoint and Photoshop
Basic Qualifications
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Quicktime, IMovie
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Photoshop, Word, and Excel
• Basic film editing skills: trim/cut a clip, handle large media files and exporting/distributing videos
• Strong interest in Kids' content
Additional Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous administrative experience
• Well organized, detail oriented, able to prioritize multiple projects and requests.
• Able to perform efficiently, professionally, and amicably under stress and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to create and maintain positive and effective working relationships
