Noggin, Nickelodeon’s preschool online video subscription service, has big aspirations and we’re looking for a Director of User Retention. This role is a hand on marketer that can cover a broad set of retention and engagement campaigns across, email, app notifications and web. You’ll drive cross-functional efforts across retention and lifecycle marketing, working with product, engineering and analytics. You will be a data driven growth marketer that can optimize current marketing initiatives and explore green field opportunities to grow the business. This role will be based out of our NYC office and will report to the GM of Noggin.
Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end retention strategy and implementation across multiple channels
• Drive retention product strategy and roadmap; work with cross-functional partners to prioritize initiatives based on expected impact and effort.
• Lead winback efforts in tandem with product and analytics. Develop, implement and optimize offer strategy.
• Define customer segmentation strategy to enable efficient customer retention tactics
• Expertly deploy user communication strategy to optimize yield
• Collaborate with acquisition marketing team members to align efforts and improve group performance
• Partner with internal teams to identify key content to feature in communications.
Basic Qualifications
• 5-7 years growth marketing experience in high-growth companies
• Proven track record in growth experimentation and funnel optimization
• Deep knowledge of communication/messaging platforms and strategy, including email, notifications (app and web), and sms.
• Direct-response, performance marketing, and paid advertising background a plus
• ExpertN lifecycle marketer with specific focus on engagement and retention.
• In depth knowledge of funnel/offer optimization
• Cross-functional leadership experience, working with marketing, product, engineering, analytics, creative and finance to drive performance.
• Highly analytical with experience pulling data, building reports and analyzing large sets of data.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in marketing, finance, engineering or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
