Do you love working in the kids and preschool space and want to work closely with world-class products?
The Director, Digital Partnerships is a NY-based position that reports to the Vice President, Digital Partnerships and advances the overall mobile app, games and digital channel businesses, with a focus on Nickelodeon.
Key Responsibilities
• You will support the development and execution of the Apps and Digital Partnerships in accordance with its goals and long-range plans
• Communicates effectively, negotiates and resolves business issues internally and externally
• You will foster day-to-day strategic relationships (e.g., with Apple, Amazon, Google, Roku)
• Includes crafting, delivering and updating storefront metadata, screenshots, icons, prices, app set-up, submit/release [works with Coordinator, Apps]
• You will identify, evaluate and present market trends and opportunities including key success factors, portfolio and app positioning, business models, revenue maximization, etc. Assists with business development analysis as needed
• Works with Nickelodeon’s Kids and Preschool games production and creative teams to provide build feedback and see opportunities to integrate new technology, features and/or devices, into the app roadmap
• You can represent the team with key Nickelodeon and Viacom partners, including, but not limited to Production, TVE Product, Marketing and Press, Legal/Standards, Ad Sales, Consumer Products and Research
• Fosters strategies for app ecosystem and portfolio-wide products and solutions, including notifications, app categorization, etc.
Basic Qualifications
• MBA or MS/BS degree (Computer Science or related technical field a plus) preferred
• Deep knowledge of mobile products and new technologies and familiarity with the online gaming space and youth demographic
• 7 years of experience in the digital partnerships space preferred
Additional Qualifications
• Phenomenal communication skills (both written and verbal) – an ability to know an audience and present effectively to any audience, including senior management
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills—and experience applying these skills to resolve business and product strategic questions, product design considerations and technical issues
