90's Nick fans. Noughties Nick fans. Nowadays Nick fans. We are looking for the Nickelodeon obsessed to come and join our Creative team on a part-time 6 month maternity leave contract as a Designer for 2 days per week. Does this sound like you?
You've been watching Nickelodeon since you were a Rugrat and are more obsessed with making the world a more playful place than Helga was with Arnold.
You've seen the brand transition over the years from a TV channel into the Turtle-y diverse multi-media entertainment brand it is today and you just can't wait to bring your creative flair to the slime-filled world of Nickelodeon.
This role will be responsible for the successful development and execution of graphic design and motion graphics for ViacomCBS channels with a focus on Nickelodeon channels on-air, online and print in Australia and New Zealand.
More specifically, you'll be doing things like this:
• Work on localising the Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. brands and client integration
• Conceptualise and develop creative graphics executions.
• Create graphics packages for promos, print and content both on-air and online.
• Perform graphics designing, grading and animation of graphics.
• Participate in brainstorming ideas with the wider Nickelodeon Team, being Production Management, Digital, Creative, Marketing and Publicity
• Assist with pitches for brand and clients
• Continually seek improvement of overall effectiveness of the Creative team
• Escalate any production related issues to the Snr. Creative Manager
This is what we're looking for:
• 5 years of Graphic Design experience
• Experience with Promo/Commercials / TVCs
• Knowledge of production techniques and systems
• Proven ability to execute briefs
• Relevant tertiary qualifications are preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
• 2D animation
• 3D Animation (cinema 4d)
• Flash, digital banners, GIFs etc.
• Broadcast formats and print specification knowledge
• Strong understanding of design
