Full Time Job
The Coordinator, Unscripted Development will provide support for the Nickelodeon VP, Live-Action Development, Unscripted Department and the Development Team which oversees the creative development and production of unscripted pilots and series.
• Provide overall creative and organizational help to support the development executives, with the creation of presentation decks in Power Point, organizing and tracking materials for projects in series, development and for pitches.
• Track competition and trends in the unscripted space to help guide the direction and focus of the Development Team
• Arrange meetings and conference calls with production companies, producers, and their representation for pitches and general introductions
• Liaise with production companies and representation to route assets and materials for distribution and feedback.
• Log and evaluate pitches to determine if they meet the mandates of the Network
• Organize and maintain records of unscripted pitches to the Network
• Provide and summarize creative notes on pitches, outlines, cuts and casting for projects in development and series in current series when required.
• Create launch kits, decks and other audio/ visual materials for research, internal review, external presentations and greenlight recommendations
• Maintain database of key producers, production companies, directors, and agents in the unscripted field
• Coordinate outreach for third party individuals, talent and production company as potential creative partners
• Work with Production Team to create calendars that meet up with production and programming needs as projects are put into consideration for series greenlights
Basic Qualifications
• 3 years of experience in the TV/entertainment business and strong background in development and unscripted
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, Excel, Quicktime, and imovie
• Passion for Unscripted TV and Content as well as Children’s and Family content

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to create and maintain positive and effective working relationships
• Have knowledge of the key producers, production companies, and agents in the Unscripted field
• Self-motivated and responsible
