Full Time Job
The Retail Marketing team focuses on the development of a full range of marketing programs to support Viacom / Nickelodeon’s consumer products business at retail. This role will report to the Director, Retail Marketing & Social Media Strategy and have a hand in bringing Retail Marketing programs and social media centric ideas to life including ideation, execution, asset development, project management, timelines, organization, budget tracking and presentation development.
Responsibilities
• Support Director on all elements of marketing campaigns for the Speciality & Fashion Collaborations accounts including in-store, digital, social, experiential activations, and more
• Assist with generation and submission of creative briefs and managing the creative process, asset needs and timelines liasing with VNCP’s Creative resources (NCR), Nickelodeon
• Creative Advertising (NCA) and external agencies and vendors
Support Retail Sales team with retail meeting requests including development of pitch materials, property updates and marketing campaign planning
• Route and review creative through all necessary internal stakeholders anticipating and managing respective timelines
• Assist in the coordination of and calendarizing social media efforts across all VNCP by collaborating with Retail Marketing account teams on initiatives
• Liase between social strategists for support across all brands (Nick, Comedy, MTV, VDS, Paramount, etc) on scheduling, creative needs, delivery of assets, media plans
• Work with internal media agency to identify, review, traffic and ensure schedule delivery of all VNCP paid social media efforts
• Review and generate reports on social media campaigns collecting both analytics and sales data to measure success and build recommendations for future efforts
• Identify new trends, social ad units, and potential partnership ideas across the Fashion Collabs and Social Media space
• Assist in the day-to-day management of the Nickeldoeon Style Instagram handle with tasks including but not limited to publishing, community management, maintaining content calendar, generating post copy, optimizing asset for retail click through, generating trackable links, audience acuistion
• Work with lines of business on identifying product priorities, sourcing samples and determining content creation solution for each product to be posted on Nickeldoeon Style Instagram Handle
• Coordinate product samples for social creative, video content and influencer product seeding distribution
• Day-to-day budget management including raising PO’s, invoicing, maintaining budget documents and trackers
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (Business or Marketing concentration preferred)
• 1-2 year’s experience in Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Fashion
• Fluency in social media marketing across all social platfroms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc)
• Proficiency in paid media execution
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
Additional Qualifications
• Experience in creative programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Interest in media/consumer products and passion for the Viacom and Nickelodeon brands
• Experience/knowledge of consumer products business, fashion and/or retail landscape
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across the organization and interface with different levels of management
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks
