POSITION TITLE: Multiplatform Project Coordinator (Freelance, Full Time) START DATE: ASAP
DEPARTMENT: Nickelodeon International Creative
DIRECT SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: SENIOR MANAGER, PRODUCTION
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the International Creative team with multiplatform content assignments, ranging from project coordination, asset sourcing, localization tracking and production shoots as needed.
• Assist in all stages of projects from assignment brief through final delivery, liaising between internal creative/production teams and external clients and vendors.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Field incoming briefs and initiate kick off meetings for multiplatform projects as assigned by Senior Production Manager.
• Track project timelines and negotiate due dates according to production turnaround and benchmarks.
• Route each round of the project to stakeholders for review, and compile feedback in a timely manner. Communicate notes to vendor/internal production team, making sure the project is progressing on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate any shoots required, including call sheets, crew/talent/location bookings, freelancer payments and ensure production adheres to local labor laws and Viacom Safety requirements.
• Liaise with Domestic counterparts for internal assets and ensure that Digital Creative team has all materials needed for assigned projects.
• Facilitate outgoing requests for content subtitling/dubbing to central localization team.
• Traffic delivery and communication of all project deliverables from vendor/internal production team to Digital HQ.
• Compile invoices from vendors/freelancers to submit for processing by Production team.
• Maintain status update on all assigned projects to team members during weekly department meeting.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external partners so projects can run smoothly and successfully.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in television/entertainment/media production.
• 1-2 years of project management and production experience in media or multiplatform field.
• Excellent organizational and communications skills (oral and written).
• Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task.
• Must be a forward thinker and have the ability to anticipate issues, propose solutions and problem solve with minimal supervision.
• Ideal candidate will possess initiative, show flexibility, be willing to work extra hours if necessary, and be a team player.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface and thrive within a deadline-oriented, fast-paced and creative environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience working with international lines of business is a plus.
