PRODUCTION COORDINATOR (ANIMATION)
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the preparation of pre-production materials for shipping; organizing, labeling, and obtaining approvals.
• Coordinate the processing of material starting with the creation of the EMR through final checking.
• Organize and maintain systems for monitoring production flow of assigned shows.
• Set up files, keep a log of start/completion dates of production progress, label materials clearly and neatly with all necessary information.
• Confirm shipments to overseas animation studios.
• Track the progress of assigned shows and flag potential problems and delays for the Production Manager and the Line Producer.
• Read and respond to internal and overseas production e-mails in a timely manner.
• Complete script and storyboard breakdowns for models, props and background designs.
• Monitor distribution of Network materials including rough storyboard, EMR, and black and white shipped materials.
• Track all pickup lines given from story department and make sure they are implemented into the final shipping animation.
• Assist on special projects for festivals, awards and network promotions.
• Handles requests made by crew members, Directors, Department Head, and Production Management.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Shotgun, FileMaker Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator a plus.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, familiarity with internet and email.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail is key.
Additional Qualifications:
• BA/BS preferred.
