Summary:
A CG Generalist may contribute partially or completely in achieving the creative direction for assets and/or shots and should have a strong understanding of Computer Graphics. Areas of expertise should include modeling, texturing, simple animation, FX, lighting, rendering and compositing. Someone in this position should demonstrate both artistic and technical skills, make appropriate decisions under tight schedules and communicate very well with members of their team.
Responsibilities:
• Have the ability to take to completion for a character/prop/set/shot based on provided artwork.
• Use artistic and technical skills along with a large variety of software to accomplish desired look.
• Find and present any reference material relevant to the assignment.
• Propose creative solutions.
• Learn new methodologies.
• Participate and contribute to finding new workflows.
• Provide feedback to the pipeline team.
• Participate or provide training sessions to other team members.
• Complete all tasks within a timely manner.
Qualifications:
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of Maya, Houdini, Substance and/or other 3d Software.
• Adequate to advanced knowledge of Nuke and Photoshop.
• High level CG knowledge and strong problem solving skills.
• Must be organized and have phenomenal communication skills.
• Experience in Python is a plus.
