Multimedia journalist/Television news photographer
KGET/Telemundo in Bakersfield has an opening for a journalist who can do it all.
We're Market 126. We're 90 minutes north of L.A., with a reputation of hiring good people and making them great. Journalists who get a couple years experience here collect their awards and move to Denver or Vegas or Phoenix on their ways to NY or LA. A couple have gone straight to Market 1 or 2.
We're the NBC and Telemundo affiliate.
I'm looking for someone whose primary job is as a photographer, but can jump in front of the camera when needed; perhaps this multi-talented person will be assigned on-camera a couple days a week, and as a photog a couple other days.
It's a great spot for someone who wants to prove themselves.
We pride ourselves on smart news, the kind of thoughtful, relevant stories that make us the station of record.
Do your research. Find out about us. Find out about Bakersfield.
Thanks.
