NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) is looking for hard-working individuals to help run our August 25th Film Festival in Downtown Los Angeles. There are a variety of positions and duties available including ushering, front-desk check-in, red carpet talent wrangling, managing the floor and operating our social media photo booth.
Our event will be held at the South Park Center in Downtown Los Angeles (1139 S. Hill Street, Los Angeles 90015). Parking is available at 1133 S. Olive Street, 90015 (validations are provided).
We ask that you help us out from about 2:30PM - 12AM. There will a short orientation given at 3PM, and it is vital that you don't miss this.
The 9 hours will be separated into 2 shifts. Depending on how many volunteers we have, you will either switch to another post after your first shift is over or you will spend the next shift watching the films and enjoying the event!
Dinner will be provided.
It is very much recommended you stay for the breakdown of the event.
