Primary Responsibilities:
• Use expert video editing and production skills to help create/maintain an engaging and exciting in-Stadium experience for all Yankee Stadium guests
• Extensive editing and updating of video features on Avid Media Composer platforms for in-Stadium scoreboard show, encompassing a wide variety of styles and genres, including, but not limited to the following types of projects:
o High energy pump-up/hype videos
o Daily highlight packages & daily postgame interview sound packages
o Sponsored features
o Fun player personality pieces
o Short-form, timely recap features
o Long-form, documentary-style features
o PSAs, Yankees Initiatives, Promo Commercials
o Community involvement recaps
o Non-Baseball Events prep and recaps (i.e. football, soccer, corporate events, season ticket licensee events, concerts, etc.)
• Extensive editing of special video projects for internal Yankee Stadium departments
• Create simple graphics and animations on Adobe Creative Cloud platforms to enhance videos
• Write, produce, and edit daily pre-game ''tease'' matchup videos, and daily Minor League player spotlight features on game days
• Brainstorm/Conceptualize new in-Stadium scoreboard features and in-game entertainment elements, seeing projects through from ideation to completion
• Maintain and further brand integration (Yankees and sponsors) across all video content produced for in-game production and company projects
• Shoot b-roll and/or interviews, when necessary
• Assist with creating AT&T Yankees on Demand online video content and social media online video content, when necessary
• Assist with maintaining and organizing digital footage library
Qualifications
and Experience:
• 5 years of high-level video editing experience with Avid Media Composer systems
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, or related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & After Effects
• Prior experience in live event production and a sports environment preferred
• Ability to operate cameras (ENG, DSLR, etc.) preferred
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Requires continual attention to detail and high level of organization
• Strong knowledge of Major League Baseball and the New York Yankees
• Proficiency in script writing
• Competent technical skills as it pertains to control room production equipment
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must submit demo reel for review, with an explanation of involvement in each project included
