Description:
The Senior Manager, Strategy and Brand Activation is responsible for managing brand marketing across all of Yankee Stadium Events and College Football programming. Develop and successfully implement strategies across multiple channels, provide analysis and modify based on measured results. Keep a real-time pulse on all digital advertising trends and apply to marketing strategies. Develop business strategy and ongoing activation plan to further enhance fan experience at Yankee Stadium.
Primary Responsibilities, Yankee Stadium Events:
• Oversee content development and ongoing social calendar as well as the execution of social strategy
• Design and direct all print, digital, and out of home marketing materials and keep a consistent brand message and implementation plan across multiple channels; develop multi-channel marketing strategies to measurably increase attendance and profit goals
• Negotiate and execute advertising campaigns to promote private and public events at Yankee Stadium.
• Oversee digital, print, and grassroots plan for Yankee Stadium Event properties
• Manage relationships with partner agencies to foster creative design, app development, printing and production
• Collaborate with sales team to determine most profitable seasons and capitalize on new opportunities
Primary Responsibilities, New Era Pinstripe Bowl:
• Build and execute integrated media mix across multiple channels (print, radio, SEM, digital, grassroots, partnership assets, out of home, etc.)
• Conduct channel performance analysis and report findings to Executive Director during bowl season
• Collaborate with title sponsor to leverage in store commerce and e-commerce initiatives to communicate brand messaging
• Negotiate and execute contracts and insertion orders with all media partners
• Build relationships with partner conferences and institutions to secure brand assets and ensure compliance across all bowl-produced print/digital/out of home materials containing their trademarks and copyrights
• Collaborate with various Yankee departments to successfully fulfill legal, sponsorship, and marketing obligations
• Work with graphic designer to art direct and produce all bowl branded materials and oversee hotel installations and event locations
• Establish social media strategy and provide oversight to all outgoing content
• Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
and Experience:
• 4-5 years' experience in B2B and B2C marketing
• Demonstrated experience as a marketing employee for a brand, team or league
• Strong social media skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, problem solver, flexible, self-starter, and high energy level
• Computer skills including Microsoft Suite and Adobe Photoshop/Design
• Ability to work in an outdoor stadium setting
