Full Time Job
Status: Short Term Full-Time (12 Month Term)
Essential Functions:
Point-of-Sale Technology/Operations
• Maintain spreadsheets detailing building-wide POS hardware/software
• Monitor overall performance of POS hardware/software
• Understand needs of cashiers/supervisors/kitchen teams/etc.
• Improve fan experience by adjusting processes and technology
• Research industry standards, successes, and issues and propose adjustments when necessary
• Work with third-party vendors and partners on POS rollouts, upgrades, fixes, etc.
Amazin' Memorabilia Program
• Answer phone and e-mail inquiries
• Expand upon existing and foster new relationships with customers
• Update sales and inventory in cloud-based point-of-sale system
• Update customer database with new and existing customer information
• Assist with operation of Amazin' Memorabilia in-stadium shop – pregame, in-game, and/or post game
• Prepare, launch, and fulfill online listings
Venue Services Analytics
• Build and analyze daily reports as necessary, including but not limited to sales/trends of memorabilia, retail and food/beverage.
• Report findings and suggestions on business improvement based on analysis
Inventory Control
• Conduct regular physical inventory audits
• Monitor and analyze daily automated reports to ensure proper tracking of items
• Prepare regular consumption reports and provide analysis
Promotions Operations:
• Receive deliveries
• Fulfill internal/external promotional item requests
• Maintain storage areas
• Track all requests
Venue Services:
• General department support as needed
Qualifications:
• Must be team-oriented, outgoing, extremely motivated and able to work independently.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Background in analytics, sports management, merchandise, marketing, management, sales, and/or hospitality services
• Professional demeanor with strong organizational, planning and communication skills.
• Must be extremely flexible and open to learn new skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines.
• Must present strong visual presentation skills
• Two years of relevant work experience, preferably in the sports field.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. During the baseball season.
• Knowledge of MS Office software required, with emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Must be comfortable with Adobe Photoshop CS5 and above
