Manager Digital Production

This is a Full Time Job

The Digital Production Manager oversees all aspects of DVD and Digital Production. The primary responsibility is to ensure that all deadlines are achieved while trouble shooting and coordinating all aspects of production. This includes but is not limited to sourcing materials, liaising with filmmakers, licensors and internal product and account managers. This position is temporary for a July 1 - mid-December time-frame.

Responsibilities
• Key contact for licensors and filmmakers for all production and technical issues across both physical and digital products.
• Manage QC process and troubleshoot technical issues with licensors, digital platforms and authoring and encoding houses
• Oversee encoding, trans-coding and delivery workflow for digital platforms with outside encoding companies and internal studio team.
• Liaise with project managers and authoring houses to produce DVDs and Blu Rays across product lines.
• Track materials including masters, bonus content, art, screeners, legal documents, etc from licensors and filmmakers
• Work with in house studio producers, encoding/authoring houses and internal project managers to trouble shoot all technical issues and insure timely deliveries to platforms and replicators.

Qualifications
• 5 years experience in the digital and DVD production
• Self-starter with strong time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize work
• Excellent written, oral & interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent follow up skills and ability to multitask required.
• Team player who is flexible and adaptable.
• Solution oriented and resourceful.
• Accountable/takes ownership of responsibilities.
• Works well under pressure in a fast- paced, evolving, and dynamic environment
