We create a popular repeatable videos for Facebook. We are seeking a Head of Digital Operations for our digital creation workflow operations and process. This person should be highly organized, specialize in digital workflow process, and be great at managing a young creative team.
The Head of Digital Operations is responsible for management of the production related planning, logistics, and workflow within the New Formats Team. S/he will work in a collaborative fashion with members of Production, Post Production, and Programming staff as well as cross-department members (e.g. - Production, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, etc.) to ensure strategic planning and decision-making, regarding budgetary and operational execution. Starting in the new year (Jan 2019)
Skills & Attributes
-Good at creating efficiencies and redundancies
-Good at training and teaching
-Willingness to learn and be in a state of pioneering & innovating
-Good with and managing people, fair yet firm.
-Comfortable with both creative and data to make decisions
-Effective at finding and implementing the most efficient workflow
-Detail oriented, but also good at seeing longer big picture with the ability to map that out
-Strategizing and compromising
-Good understanding of social media platforms and publishing
-The ideal candidate has a strong editing/post production supervising background
-Highly versed in media management workflows
-Experience with Box, Trello, Google docs, Airtable, Mavenlink (huge plus)
-Good moral compass and instincts
Roles & Responsibilities
-Manage and maintain general pipeline from writing process, through post, to publishing on social platforms.
-Update and create process and workflow including trackers & spreadsheets
-Adhere to budgets
-Basic Administrative duties
-Manage deliverable and archival process
-Identify areas for budget risks and opportunities for senior team
-Foster collaboration with the other internal departments and external entities to maximize efficiencies
-Collaboration with other department leaders to execute programming and production creative efforts for all productions
-Assist with logistical & budgetary development, analysis and execution for new production initiatives and ideas
-Oversee production coordinators and editors assigned to shows, ensuring all production needs are met
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree
-Prior operations and/or production management experience preferred
-Strong background in post-production and production required (5+ years of experience)
-Strong background in digital workflows preferred
