What you might not know is just how much goes into building the world's leading Internet TV network. It takes petabytes of data, more than one trillion events, billions of network requests, the most cutting edge technology, and a lot of top notch engineers. We are looking for a talented Technical Recruiter to help us strategically build out the product engineering groups that make this all possible.
In This Role, You Will:
• Own the strategy to recruit senior and niche candidates in limited talent pools, including driving a business plan, building key competitive research, industry profile development, networking and direct sourcing
• Engage key staffing and business partners in order to understand their talent needs
• Use talent market expertise, data, and business acumen to educate and influence hiring managers on how to identify and acquire the best talent
• Participate in full-cycle recruiting, including interview, offer, negotiate and close candidates
• Foster a diverse and inclusive environment both with the recruiting team and the business teams you support
• Network and maintain relationships with key talent communities for short and/or long term opportunities
• Ensure that candidates understand and embrace our unique Freedom & Responsibility Culture
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the top Netflix competitors and the industry
• Understand broader business initiatives and be able to answer questions around Netflix strategy, goals and culture
You Are:
• Experienced in building recruiting strategies that yield diverse pipelines of qualified engineering candidates
• Experienced in full-cycle technical recruiting AND experience working with sourcing support
• Courageous enough to be direct, truthful and proactive with constructive feedback
• Self-motivated and directed; ability to collaborate is a must, but you will be autonomous and comfortable working independently
• Proactive; taking initiative and follow-through is a must
• Accustomed to multitasking and meeting multiple, tight deadlines
• A leader who will offer innovative and constructive ideas to continue our team's success
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ideal experience includes both agency and in-house recruiting experience
