Seeking an ambitious, self-motivated individual who will oversee studio build outs from inception to completion. This position will be based out of our Los Angeles office. Travel is required. As a project manager you will work directly with our Tech Ops Technicians and Specialists ensuring alignment with any relevant infrastructure, hardware and software requests.
This role will have also have a strong partnership with our Studio Operations team. You will accompany them to on site visits, and assist in the various build outs working from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
The Tech Ops Project Manager role will involve a multitude of tasks. This position must maintain the team's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing technologies across our production build outs. This person will coordinate resources and effectively communicate timetables to the various stakeholders. In addition, the project manager will recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating previous build outs; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Required Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years project management expertise preferably in an office, studio or production environment
• Ability to coordinate projects with complete action and contingency planning; ability to determine resource requirements
• Background in the IT field, including the procurement and deployment of production equipment
• Familiarity in network/internet infrastructure and management solutions
• Skill in developing technical solutions and creatively applying them in operational problems
• Extensive leadership experience and strong teaming abilities
• Managing vendor relationships
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; must be a self-motivated self-starter who will take ownership of work
