The Specialist will support our studio's content security efforts for our productions across all verticals. This role is instrumental in managing risk across the production and post-production life cycle. Responsibilities will include reviewing and conducting risk assessments of third party creative vendors, production and post-production facilities, content handling applications, and other tools that process Netflix's pre-launch content.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct and/or direct content risk assessments of production and post-production vendor
• Provide advice and remediation plans based on best practices and compensating controls
• Maintain relationships and provide ongoing advisement on industry best practices and Netflix Studio expectations with content-handling vendors
• Maintain a vendor management system for central storage of internal and external audit reports, questionnaires and supporting documentation
• Evaluate and test vendor workflows, processes, and controls and identify areas of risk
• Oversee vendor assessment remediation projects and revalidation of security maturity
• Support increased digital security testing and content protection technology/anti-piracy testing
• Support assessments of internal departments handling content to ensure the proper security controls and procedures are in place
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 - 4 years relevant Content Security/Information Security experience
• Experience in Pre-Production and Post-Production of Film and Television
• Experience in Production and Editorial Technology
• Comprehensive knowledge of feature film production and post-production industries, services, and workflows (e.g., DI, editing, visual/audio effects, encoding, dubbing)
• Knowledge and technical skills around current and developing content security/anti-piracy technology, industry standards and regulations
• Certifications in one or more of the following - CISSP, CISM, CISA, CPP, CRISC, CEH, ITIL
Ability to:
• Maintain awareness of trends and developments in the area of media security
• Learn and retain new skills as required supporting a continually changing technical environment
• Communicate at a technical level with technical professionals, as well as communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical management
• Function as an integral member of a team comprised of Legal, Technology, Operations, and Physical Production
