The focus for the Production Technology Partnerships and Outreach team is to proactively engage and support the creative production community by improving the adoption of innovative technologies and workflows to boost quality and efficiency across the industry, while helping it evolve. We do this by supporting internal stakeholders in Creative Technologies, Post Management, Dubbing, VFX/Virtual Production and Production with industry event participation, key messaging development, vendor outreach and marketing/promotional support. This position will support Production Technology Partnerships and Outreach marketing and communication initiatives that help educate, engage, and celebrate the industry.
As part of the Production Technology Partnerships and Outreach group, you will:
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams globally to execute internal and external marketing and communications initiatives
• Develop messaging and copy for internal and external constituencies, including event materials, emails, social posts, website content, newsletters, press briefings, and blogs
• Aid in presentation preparation for internal and external subject matter experts, reviewing content, securing IP, and briefing speakers
• Curate, develop and manage social media content as an Administrator for the Netflix B2B social platforms (Facebook and YouTube)
• Lead the globalization of all materials used, created, and/or leveraged by O&E, including invitations, presentation materials, videos, and recorded industry events.
• Help evaluate and fulfill incoming marketing, promotional and awards-related requests from talent, industry organizations, press andPost/Dubbing/VFX/Technology vendors
• Support other marketing and communication initiatives within O&E as needed
Qualifications:
• 5 years of communications experience within the entertainment technology, post or vfx industry
• Experience in social media management and social listening
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a background in media training and presentation development
• A strong grasp of IP licensing as it relates to branding and content
• Culturally sensitive with a history of collaborating cross-functionally with a diverse range of global stakeholders, including creatives, engineers and technology groups
• Competency in leveraging data to make informed decisions
• Interest in new technology that promotes efficiency and scalability (such as Airtable, Zendesk, Google Sheets, and proprietary Netflix systems)
• Strong organizational, time management and project management skills, with a detail-oriented approach
