Responsibilities
We are hiring a Social Media Marketing Coordinator to help us set and own our brand social strategy and develop our audience presence in Southern Europe, with a specific focus on Portugal and Greece and support to managers executing strategy in Spain and Italy. The coordinator will be tapped into emerging platforms, aware of other successful campaigns, and will have a vision for success in a competitive landscape. As a member of our lean and agile team, the successful employee will be as comfortable firing off a humorous tweet as they are writing strategy and producing a major campaign for an original show.
This person will be working closely with external agencies sitting across different regions to put forth big ideas, stunning creative, and spot on copy in support of new content, the product, and the brand. The winning candidate will also be responsible for integrating social media into campaigns from our counterparts in PR and Marketing.
Fluent in the language of Instagram stories, Facebook live and 140 (or 280) characters, the successful candidate is equally able to set social strategy, develop tone of voice, write a script, or fire off a well-timed social post.
Skills
required
The successful candidate for this position will likely have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in-house, at an agency or another company with a proven track record of generating earned word of mouth with socially driven campaigns. He/She has to be fluent in English and Portuguese or Greek.
