We are looking for a Marketing Manager to help us grow our business in Spain. Someone who has experience building engaging and efficient marketing campaigns and driving word of mouth and love for a brand. We're also looking for a professional who values entrepreneurial work environments and a 'freedom and responsibility' culture.
The Marketing Manager will oversee Netflix Originals campaign activations across the region. Working closely with counterparts in Editorial and Publicity teams and other international marketing peers, you will be a strong consumer voice for the Netflix content in Spain and the local culture expert for the cross-functional team.
This position will be based in Madrid, with significant travel to our EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam.
If you're a passionate entertainment and brand marketer with demonstrated experience in launching amazing marketing campaigns in Spain, we'd like to hear from you.
Key responsibilities:
• Marketing strategy. You will work on the launch strategy for key title launches in Spain together with the Marketing and Publicity teams.
• Campaign management. You will launch unique campaigns for our Netflix Originals that set new standards for entertainment marketing and drive significant word of mouth and engagement from our users. For that matter, you will work close with creative and media agencies and advertising partners in Spain in order to find the right media, placements and ad formats for our campaigns.
• Campaign analysis. You will be responsible for the analysis of our campaigns and will work with our partners to optimize them. Your findings and learnings will be key to improve Netflix's performance as an entertainment brand in Spain.
• Cultural ambassador. You will be critical to help Netflix understand the Spanish consumers while also living and embracing the Netflix culture.
Experience/Skills:
• Depth of knowledge. We are looking for someone that understands consumer marketing –preferably in the entertainment space– and how not only build strategy but also execute flawlessly. At least 7 years of marketing experience. Creative agency management and media development experience is a required.
• Social and digital expertise. We are looking for a social media expert that understands digital marketing (display, rich media, VOD, direct video, mobile, paid social…), with demonstrated experience launching and managing unique digital campaigns for entertainment, from ideation and media planning to optimization and performance analysis.
• Activations and events. We are looking for someone with wide experience running events for fans of entertainment. Marketing managers plan, coordinate and execute different campaign activations, focusing on word of mouth impact and ROI.
• Bias for action. With the right context, we expect you to act autonomously and take decisions on the different marketing activations in the market.
• Concise and clear communication. We are looking for a fluent Spanish and English speaker with excellent communication skills, who is also confident working with senior leadership teams.
