This position is part of the Employee Services (ES) team based in New York which designs and runs the infrastructure to deliver an outstanding employee experience from onboarding and beyond. This hire will be a key player in the employee experience as their focus will be project-based work that scales the employee experience in the areas of regional onboarding, off-boarding, compliance, leaves of absence, and systems & tools.
The Senior Generalist is a demonstrated project manager, innovator and culture champion who is passionate about the employee experience. They are outstanding at creating meaningful relationships and are collaborative, solution-oriented, innovative and organized. The successful candidate is someone who can effectively interact with business leaders at all levels, has excellent communication skills, strong business acumen and has a career background as an HR generalist. They will be expected to be highly independent and proactive in identifying and implementing positive change and improvements in the employee experience, aligned with our culture.
Responsibilities
• - Identifying areas of the employee experience that need improvement to scale with the business.
• Articulate the problem you are solving for and gain a deep understanding of how solving - will reduce bureaucracy, increase the time spent working vs. administrative tasks and improve general productivity.
• Manage projects including project scoping, development, launch and execution.
• Collaborate with key partners to build alignment across the organization on initiatives.
• Develop innovative ways to support the organizations and leaders in scaling with growth.
• Build resources and tools to support the Generalist team in providing excellent frontline support.
• Support teams outside of NY such as Colorado and DC
Experience
• 5 years of HR experience in an international, dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Proven track record of being an innovative project manager.
• Experience and understanding of supporting early-stage growth environments where the need to find solutions is more important rather than leaning on a rule book.
• Great front of house manner, comfortable building relationships with a dynamic workforce who are smart, demanding and experienced.
• A creative and solution-oriented mind; problem-solving quickly to eliminate distraction.
• Project management-driven, extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and drive improvements and continuously simplify processes.
• Interest in and ability to wear many hats simultaneously
