Our PR team exhibits screenings all over the world throughout the year to promote Netflix shows… the screening assets team partners with them to create these experiences.
The Role
We are seeking an individual to support our screenings assets team while they manage our global screening requests. The coordinator role will be supporting the specialists who are responsible for the creation, approvals and delivery of screening assets for all of Netflix's public facing screenings.
We are looking for a team player who is eager to support and enable them to plan and execute great screening experiences for our creative staff, film & series creators, press, premieres, festivals and beyond.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Support specialists as needed to manage requests for the creation of screening assets including, but not limited to: DCPs, BluRays, DVDs and various digital files
• Work alongside the Screening Assets Specialists, and internal PR, and Post Production teams to support the ordering, fulfilling and execution of screening assets
• Handle administrative work for the scheduling, tracking, and verification of screening assets
• Communicate effectively with the Screenings Asset Specialists and cross functional partners to ensure the proper planning, availability and delivery of assets are met
Experience and Qualifications
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving department that requires someone who is always ready to support the team as needed.
• 3 years of experience within a medium to high budget studio post production dept and/or a medium to large post production facility
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and high volume of support
• A complete understanding of how to prioritize, while also remaining agile and able to pivot quickly; Excellent time management skills are a must
• Working knowledge of Google suite of applications & Air table required
• Knowledge of DCP, Blu-Ray, DVD and digital file creation
• Edit session requests and knowledge of DCI-Compliance standards
• Knowledge of color spaces, frame rates, resolutions, aspect ratios and audio configurations
• Knowledge of cloud hosted media sharing & collaboration tools
• Knowledge of Quality Control standards & practices
• Knowledge of vendors including DCP & Post Production facilities
• Knowledge of data management
