Core to Netflix's success is the product engineering teams that build Netflix, and the data science teams that power our data research and algorithm development. We're looking for a recruiting researcher to identify top talent in this space and coach our hiring managers to make smart recruiting decisions. You will be helping to build teams that are core to the growth, success and innovation of Netflix.
As a recruiting team, we focus on finding great talent, anticipating business needs and coach our hiring managers to hire successfully. We don't solely focus on rigid metrics to determine a researcher's success - we also look at the impact in the form of coaching moments, successful long term hires and driving an innovative and streamlined recruiting process. We look for recruiting researchers that push the status quo and focus on finding new and innovative ways to find and attract talent - and we build a culture that lets you break the ''recruiting process mold''. You will be empowered to pushback when you think a process isn't efficient or helping us to get to our goals and you'll have peers that do the same.
What You'll Do:
• Partner: You'll work directly with recruiters and hiring managers as your true partners to find and attract talent specific to the team's needs. You'll coach and advise based on your growing knowledge in niche markets.
• Research: You'll utilize not just Linkedin but deeper research techniques and strategies to find pools of talent and convey those insights back to your hiring team.
• Evaluate: You'll screen candidates and evaluate a candidate's technical skill set and match it to the right role within Netflix. You'll utilize those screens to determine motivations, interests and a candidate's values and make decisions on their fit into our unique ''freedom and responsibility'' culture.
• Prioritize: You'll own and juggle multiple requisitions and balance moving quickly with a great candidate experience. You'll' use your own judgement on how to best organize, prioritize and execute in a fast paced environment.
Who You Are:
• Self-motivated and driven; you look for solutions and impact, without being asked twice
• Curious and loves going beyond the surface level of a profile; you research market trends and don't rely on just a keyword search to find the niche talent.
• Accustomed to multi-tasking, self-prioritizing and meeting tight deadlines
• You've hired for niche, high caliber engineering and/or data science talent; you don't stray away from the challenging roles
• You have at least 2 years of recruiting/sourcing experience and continue to challenge yourself to grow by picking up new, innovative sourcing techniques regularly
