Program Manager, Post Production - Post Partnerships & Integration
The Role
Netflix is creating great content at a pace and scale never before seen in the history of entertainment. To continue our goal of spreading global joy, we must ensure the post production industry is poised to meet our internal needs. We're looking for a Program Manager to help identify and refine our needs, and partner with prominent and emerging companies in the post ecosystem to meet those needs.
The Program Manager will be responsible for successful execution of multiple initiatives with software and hardware manufacturers, and service vendors. As the primary owner of these initiatives, the Program Manager will outline, socialize and prioritize action items and team assignments, and partner with internal stakeholders and the development teams of partner companies to manage integration projects to completion. Success will depend on developing an understanding of Netflix and partner business requirements, as well as product functionality with a primary focus on identifying and solving for key post production workflows. Candidate must have a strong background in the post production environment combined with a passion for excellence and change management experience.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with Netflix Post Production and engineering teams to identify workflow gaps and ideate potential solutions within the external post tools ecosystem.
• Partner with product managers, technical program managers, engineering managers, and business experts/consultants across internal and external teams, representing the needs of the post production group.
• Establish key milestones and project framework to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
• Socialize project timelines as needed and maintain accountability on deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 10 years within post production, either freelance or studio-based.
• Knowledge of the current market of post production tools.
• Experience with new software development processes: discovery, design, engineering, UAT, Early Access (ie soft launches).
• Experience managing and working with engineering teams collectively.
• Willingness to travel.
• Sharp assessment skills with an ability to evaluate wants vs. needs.
• Flexible amid an ever-changing and growing environment.
