This position is ideal for someone looking to play a major role in the transformation of the entertainment industry. Netflix desires to build deep and meaningful relationships with our post production partners and you will be a part of making that happen. You will play an integral role in making Netflix the most efficient and effective digital platform on which to deliver the assets of our Studio.
Primary Responsibilities:
• This is primarily an internal facing role; the program manager's goal is to understand the needs of Netflix post production and master QC stakeholders, then document and share this information with Global Engagement Managers who own external vendor relationships.
• The program manager will deeply understand, and advocate for, the services and needs for creative post and MQC vendors to fulfill.
• Serve as a bridge between Netflix internal teams and outbound Engagement Managers.
• Identify and document scopes of work and pricing needs to be satisfied by vendors.
• Help to shape the overall structure of the preferred vendor programs to support post production efforts of Netflix Originals.
• Actively contribute to vendor management KPI refinement and measurement.
Key Attributes:
• Firm understanding and knowledge of all aspects of creative post (DI, editorial, color grading, etc) and master quality control
• History of building successful stakeholder relationships
• Deep understanding of analytics, data management, and project management.
• Team player who is also able to work independently and make sound judgment calls.
• Ability to multitask, be flexible, and thrive in challenges.
• Interest in new technology that promotes forward thinking, efficiency, and scalability.
• Able to communicate and work alongside engineering and technology groups easily.
• Comfortable using or learning tools such as Zendesk, Google Sheets, and proprietary Netflix systems.
• Minimum 10 years relevant work experience.
