The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Project Manager for end to end purchase to pay (P2P) systems and workflows. This role will report to the Director, Finance Operations and work closely with the Finance Operations and Finance Technology teams to identify and drive projects to streamline and automate manual workflows and reporting initiatives. The Finance Operations teams include Accounts Payable (Supplier Admin, Invoice Processing, Payments) and embedded business partner teams; the teams are spread out in our Los Gatos, Los Angeles, Brazil, Amsterdam, and Singapore offices.
The perfect candidate for this role is someone that has a solid understanding of the P2P workflow, an ability to partner with technical teams and build strong cross functional relationships, a deep curiosity and passion for automation and process improvement, the ability to manage highly impactful projects, and experience scaling a global P2P function with ''best in class'' workflows. We need someone to analyze the purchasing, invoicing and payments process, identify efficiency opportunities, and lead projects to streamline and automate.
Responsibilities
include:
• Project management and implementation of large scale system projects, including OCR solution for invoice processing
• Work closely with the Finance Operations Business Partner teams and Accounts Payable teams in each office to identify opportunities to standardize and streamline P2P workflows and systems across the teams
• Lead touchpoint meetings between Finance Operations and Finance Technology teams; identify, track, and prioritize projects between the two teams
• Act as point person for driving enhancements with Workday, our cloud based ERP software provider
• Coordinate testing of new system functionality workflows with Finance Operations teams
• Travel between the Los Gatos and Los Angeles offices and occasional travel to international offices
Qualifications:
• 8 years of relevant experience
• Degree in relevant field
• Understanding of SOX and Tax compliance for Supplier Invoices and Payments
• Project management - ability to lead large meetings and impactful projects to streamline and automate global P2P workflows; experience scaling operational workflows and aligning processes on a global team; PMP certification or an understanding of Agile methodology (Scrum Master) is a plus
• Systems savvy - comfortable learning and implementing new systems; advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets and other systems to analyze large data sets and automate manual tasks; experience implementing an OCR system to capture invoices; experience with RPA; experience with Workday or other cloud-based ERP systems
